Winter debris covers are manufactured
1ft larger than the pool all around the perimeter from
a woven polyethylene UV stabilised material. This forms
a protective layer over the pool reducing the risk of
frost damage to the pool underneath and discolouration
from leaves and other debris that may fall into the
pool during winter.
They are supplied in a green/black or blue/black finish
with three fixing types – economy, deluxe and
Flush-Fix. Economy fittings are made up of “P”
anchors complete with “D” ring and buckles.
The Deluxe fitting is a combination of a “P”
anchor with an integral stainless steel spring and slide
bar buckle.
Plastic plugs are provided to slot into the holes when
the cover is not in use.
The brass Flush-Fix anchor fitting comprises of an
in-ground brass fixing which can be set into paving
or any surrounding concrete area with a stainless steel
spring and side bar buckle.
Economy and deluxe fittings require a 6mm drill whilst
Flush-Fix require a 20mm drill.
Strap spacing is normally between 0.9m – 1.5m
(3ft – 5 ft) on the width and 1.2m – 1.5m
(4 ft – 5 ft) along the length. There is an additional
cost for closer spacing of the straps.
