| All methods have their own merits with
regards, cost effectivness and efficiency. The direct
fired gas heaters are the most commonly installed as the
capital cost and running costs are relatively economic.
More and more, however, electric heat pumps are being
installed today as they are very energy efficient and
essentially extract free heat from the atmosphere and
have a high co-efficient of performance in the summer
when the pool is most likely to be used. |
