| Do I need planning permission for an
above ground pool? |
| |
| Not usually unless you have a listed
building or live in a conservation area. They are considered
to be moveable but it is always best to check with your
local Council first if in any doubts as planning rules
do vary from one County Council to another. |
| |
| Can I sink the pool into the ground? |
| |
| As the name would suggest, these are
for above ground assembly. |
| |
| Can I deck up to them? |
| |
| Most certainly and they look very attractive
with decking up to them but you would be advised to decide
this before purchasing as you would need to change the
standard ladder to an in-pool ladder. |
| |
| Can I heat an above ground pool? |
| |
| Yes you can and there are various forms
of heating available depending on the type of pool. We
would be happy to advise you on this. |
| |
| Do I have to take the pool down again
for winter? |
| |
| No – the pool would be winterised
and we would be happy to advise on this or our Service
Department would be able to undertake this for you. In
the case of splasher type pools, we recommend that these
are taken down and stowed away for the winter. |
